“So here we are at Shankar
Dobriyal’s place which seems different from last time. It now is decorated with
purple lilies and white orchids. And amidst of this we see Mr. Prasant Dobriyal
standing in between of dais announcing his new business ventures. The house is
filled with people raising a toast in favour of Dobriyals”
Meanwhile in room he was getting ready, today was a special day. He wore
his favourite cream silk shirt and grey jeans when his hands landed into a
black turtleneck sweater reviewing the memories of that day…..
“Why can’t we be
together?”Shankar
asked firmly.
“Because I don’t like you
and pls will you excuse me” said Priyashi and hurriedly left from there.
The guy was Shankar, The Shankar Dobriyal, very dashing
and suave entrepreneur, his father was Prasant Dobriyal a famous industrialist
and it was very known fact that Shankar took his business to new heights and he
learnt one thing from Shankar that he was manipulative and cold blooded
business tycoon. He owned one of biggest jewel brands Dobriyals’. She was
Priyashi Kelkar, princess of Mr. Vikas Kelkar, partner with Prashant and so he
was the back bone of business yet independent as he ran his exclusive gem designing
boutique, Priyali in name of his late wife and now seen by Priyashi, who rose
it such heights that now her appointment book was always full. Prasant and
Vikas were very good friends and she knew how romantic Vikas was to his wife.
The intensity of that loved was something she feared. Shankar was a love child
of Prasant and he doesn’t even remember his mother’s name so with Shankar, but his
whole life revolved around him. In return Shankar also was there with equal
devour and never considered anybody other than him.
While seeing her uncomfortably twitching her juice
glass, Shankar remembered the first they met on her take-over party; she took
over her father’s business as Head Designer and their first interaction.…
“Will you stop staring at
me, Mr. Shankar?”
"So you know who I am. How flattering."
"Who doesn't know the biggest playboy in
town?"
"You shouldn't believe everything you read in
the media circle."
"Maybe you should stop doing things that end
up as fodder for the media circle."
"Maybe I will, now that I have met you."
It was first of many of the meetings they had in the
common parties and they became attraction for media circle where everybody was
interested to know what’s going in between the biggies of the industry. This
was one of these parties where they came to contact due to common
acquaintances.
The other part to the st0ry was both set of father knew
what’s going on but never interfered. One clearly because they are adult and
have right to decide their own decisions, secondly because they believed that
he is the best match for her.
She undoubtedly felt a pull towards him but was scared
of many reasons. She had seen the intensity of his feelings in his eyes and her
beauty which she inherited from her mother was always under constant teasing in
the business circles she had feeling that either it will lead him towards being
an insufferable ass and being angry at everybody which is common under his
circumstance as he is very passionate angry person or he will always keep her
under his wing to remove that hovering eyes and it will only make her loose her
identity. Her another fears were regarding his flamboyant nature and she was
worried about the fact she may fall in love with him but he will be her till he
is interested in her and then she will be heartbroken and she can’t tolerate
this from the first guy she ever felt infatuated.
