Waaris-Scene II

Scene II
Vikrant had a very large family in which included two sons, Sansay and Risabh, one daughter, Trisha and all living in one roof. Vikrant was born in small place of Madhya Pradesh and his father was a simple govt. Clerk and from there he rose. When he came to Mumbai 45 years with just 100 Rs. Newly married to Rajshree, whom he just married so that he could come out from that place. From there started his struggle with his wife, though he and Rajshree always respected and cared for each other but never loved each other. He always saw the organisation of marriage as contract so he married his sons for money even his daughter for social status.
His elder son had 3 daughters married at the age of 19 as he believed that it was ideal to marry but he kept them till they studied so his every granddaughter are masters. The daughter never had children as his son-in-law died early as his daughter never remarried. But she had adopted a son, Jay Rajrana Kashyap, who was also accepted by Trisha’s in laws but Vikrant wanted to keep them with him. The youngest son had 2 children, the elder was Samar and younger was daughter, Nishtha. Nishtha was married Rahil, who was in derby business. Nishta was in Stephens College as Fine Arts Graduate student.
With Vikrant lived his younger brother, Viswas who never married and followed him as shadow. The business was basically now looked after by Jay and Samar but Vikrant still had total control with Viswas helping him but everybody knew that Jay’s major attraction was car racings business like his father’s family and so he was with his father’s family most of the time.
Rajshree who was always there never supported Vikrant in his ruthless decisions and so she was most of the time busy with her social work and she use to say to Trisha“ I know may be my philosophy is wrong but whatever I do, I do it for my own happiness and nothing else. He may have become top businessman with hot-shot newspaper but I’m still the same Rajshree. I don’t do this for your father’s peace and happiness but I do it for myself and my seeking of inner self.”
Whereas Dwijita always carved for the family love as his father was the only child so was she, and her grand parents died in an accident after that her mother renounced the world when she was 3, and now who was there was Sadhwi Deepa. With Bikash being single parent it was very tough for him to maintain both the fronts. So she always in home alone as Bikash wanted to keep her close to him. She did her Honours from Stephens College in Journalism.

Waaris-Scene I

Scene I
I was about to o behind that girl which I really found interesting as she was a kind of person whom you meet in several years as she was Mrs. Dwijita Rajrana, the grand daughter-in-law of Mr. Vikrant Rajrana, one of India’s top news channel and newspaper company “Aiana”.
She was wearing a simple coffee coloured suit and had an innocent smile, but then only I saw her sitting in a car. Her history as interesting as her eyes, she was daughter of Mr. Bikash Shah, who owned “Gossip” which was biggest rival of “Aiana” and she was handling her father’s business then only one day Mr. Rajrana came to Mr. Shah saying he would love her as his granddaughter-in-law for his grandson, Samar.
Though the fact that no one can forget is that there was something always more than professional rivalry between two of them, but Bikash considered it to be a genuine step from his side, so he fixed Dwijita’s marriage with Samar.
But, it was found that Vikrant did this due his hidden agenda under which he killed two birds from one stone, first marrying Dwijita to Samar will mean end of “Gossip” as he was afraid as he saw another Vikrant Rajrana in Dwijita so he secured his position by bringing her down under his subordination plus Samar was in love with Muslim actress, Nisreen so this end his obsession for her. So typical of Vikrant Rajrana, who was the ruthless businessman of this world.

Rajrani Radha

I think somewhere till the end there lived Priya lived in him, and that’s the reason why he named her to be Radhika, I believe that was the only moments in which lived the human or ever felt the heart in that devil., was the moments he saw her. He was known to world as Mr. Daksh Rajvansh........................
“Go away, all of you.” He was about to break the glass statue he was holding but finding that the entrant is a young girl of 20-22. He somehow calmed and just said “Radhika you should have told me that you are coming. I would have sent the car to your hostel. Ok, now go your room and rest. We will talk later.” The girl was wearing a full length red anarkali and military coloured jacket just walked above the stairs and went directly to her room. The whole mansion had photos of her from growing up to her teens to her youth. She was Radhika Rajvansh; she was wife of Daksh Rajvansh.
Daksh Rajvansh was a famous director plus producer of film and theatre industry who was in his 40s. Radhika married Daksh years back, she thinks the day only in which she turned 19. Since then her legal guardian became her life partner. Though many would think it to be pressed on marriage over Radhika but on reality she also wanted that only but could never say that, so when Daksh once said “If I marry you then will you accept my proposal?” she just shook her head. As much Radhika knew and what told, she was brought in this house when she was 3 but she was always in hostels since the age of 5 and till now her education was not yet complete so at 23 also she only came to her own house only for 1 week or two. His temperament was famous so she never decided to test it. So she just changed her clothes and tried to sleep as she knew for now he either would be going for his shoots or will like to be it quiet at home. Just then the gate opened and entered Daksh with tray, it had soup and then gave to her and said “Radhika before sleeping, complete this soup”
The next day while roaming around the house she found that it still was in same format as kept years back and in that only she found that one room was latched and no one was agreeable to tell her much detail. Though she herself feared his anger but he also knew that to know she has to go inside. Entering the room, she found it to be a large bedroom of itself of ultimate beauty. The entry itself told the story of room. But the most striking feature was there was one photo of Daksh with a girl who looked similar to her age but Daksh looked different in that photo, he looked in his 20s but same dressing style washed out jeans, short kurta and long black khadi jacket, plus his specs. The girl was looking beautiful in a black saree worn in latest fashion of 1980s. All over she found only one name Priya in that room as many articles hung in that room.
Then only she found someone making a nuisance outside their house asking about some girl and he also repeatedly used the name Priya. Though she wanted to see him but she was not allowed even to enter out from her room without his permission and he wasn’t at home. She just heard the man leaving in saddest mode and trying to search some girl in home. But like always her room was locked
She knew only person can answer what happening and that’s Bittuji, he was Daksh personal assistant and his one of oldest allies since the days of theatre. Just then entered Bittuji, saying “Arrre, bhabhiji aap, kab aaye?” They both settled for lunch as he came home for picking Daksh’s tuck box and then suddenly looking in the eyes of Bittuji where she always found unconditional love for her, she said “Bittuji, you consider me as your daughter and now I’m your sister-in-law. Can you please tell me who is this Priya and how she is related to Daksh? Please answer don’t I have a right to know about all what happening.”
Bittuji only said “Please don’t ask me, Radhika bhabhiji. I can’t tell you as this something related to Sir’s past which none of us are allowed to talk about.” Hearing this, she kept a knife in her wrist and said “Ok, you also know I am your Sir’s upbringing so cranky and crazy like him. Tell me whole truth or else you also know, Bittuji” Saying that he dug it a bit deeper and seeing a clot of blood Bittuji blurted out:-
“Priya was an actress or we should say Sir made her actress, she was just a girl of 21 when Sir saw her in a college campus and brought her to media lights by his play. Sir was famous play writer and director that time also. And with that she climbed the stairs of success and Sir and Priya was into relation but as you also knowing Sir’s ego. One day she couldn’t make up to his mark and in this anger only they had a large fight but the real reason was her father had said some ill words to Sir and had fixed her marriage somewhere else and that day only he left her home in anger and in that time only, her father was also disturbed and was highly drunk. As she weeping in the road and he couldn’t see. So there was an accident between them and in that accident, Priya died and after that her father realised that it was whole his mistake in accident and also in her life’s relationship statuses plus, Sir also felt in same way. So he brought you in this home and since then he had always tried to find Priya in you Radhika. Yes you are Priya’s younger sister and that man who was screaming today was Karan Rajrana, Priya’s and your father, who have come here only to find you. You were younger sister who was 20 years younger to her. Actually Priya’s brother died when she was 18 and to remove your parents and Priya’s depression you were brought in this world and in that time only your mother died”.
She was shocked to hear and she wanted to meet her father, so she requested Bittuji to take her to him and seeing her he started saying “Priya” Bittuji told “No, Rajrana sahib, she is Radhika, Radhika Rajvansh, she is Sir’s wife. She wanted to meet you.” Karan only said “Radhika or Priya, my daughter naa.” “No, I am Radhika Rajvansh, Daksh’s wife and her ward not your daughter I only came to see that house where lies the broken heart of my Daksh.” Karan only said “Yes, I am the culprit don’t I have a right to see my own daughter due to this mistake. Please can I see you for moments? We humans don’t have capability to change their decision who knew that one day I will lose my both daughters because my one mistake.”
But Daksh came to know about and was highly upset and in that way only he went into his room with his anger and so came running Radhika.“Go away, Radhika. I don’t want to talk to you.” Daksh said seeing Radhika entering his room.
“Ok, today who stands here isn’t Radhika Rajvansh, your wife, nor the daughter of Mr. Karan Rajrana but today here stands only Radhika, your Priya’s sister. Now can I say something? My sister had died and now she is now only there in memories of you and that man. In his, she lives in form of regret and in yours she lived as love then why Daksh, why you are hallucinated by her memories. Your love was so pure and great. Then why your love for her now has become so weak that in love not even your happiness could come in. Priya took her love other world and she made it so big that whole world filled in that. Please, Daksh Please don’t make her love as your bonds, make it the way to realise your freedom.”
6 months after that,
St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Graduation Day
Surprised Radhika sitting in a Audi 7 and just then she was handled a rose bouquet and she smiling accepted it and was just keeping it when a thorn struck her, she was surprised but before that only, he brought his hands and possessively cleaning the finger and apologetically said” I brought these to bring smile but they gave you pain. I am sorry.” Radhika only said “You came that’s all for me. By the way, I thought you left for Ladakh for shooting. Then how are you here? And where is my luggage”
Daksh said “Now stop my Rajdhani Express, yes I’m leaving for Ladakh but I am leaving today and you luggage has being picked up by my staff. I wanted to take you with me but as promised to your father. You would be going to his house and after one week you can join me in shooting. I know you will miss me. So I came pick me.”
Really he left his past life baggage and started a new life with Radhika and yes now he was much calmer and much happier person.

he fell in the sofa behind her and said “Who are you?”. The lady came into light and she said “Kamakshi, you scoundrel, why are you ruining my life? How can your ghost return?”

There was a devilish smile and which said “I am not a ghost, or Kamakshi. I’m Arpeeta, Mrs. Arpeeta Aparajeet Deb, the mother of RV, and there’s something which will prove that I am what I am claiming.”
There was a large picture in library when lights were brightened and it was a huge family photo which brought all the life of Kia on her open mouth. It was a photo in which there was a man whose world well known business and Arpeeta sitting in behind him and there was another couple who was younger maybe near the age of Arpeeta, Mr. and Mrs. Janamjay Deb and RV sitting in front of them sat RV on one knee. Kia was like “How’s this possible?” Appy only said “This is my family.” Kia ran out of room saying that this will make her mad and just then she clashed RV to whom she said “RV, your mom isn’t the person she is claiming and we should run away and get married.”
RV just laughed and said “What do you think that I love you it’s none like that it was all trapping set out for you for the revenge of humiliating my Maa. And last but not the least I love my Maa and wouldn’t even go a single word against her. Just leave”
Just then entered Arpeeta from back and turning to her, she said “Thanks RV for helping me.”
“Maa, Bhabhi Maa, what you thought you in trouble and I won’t come, I would have come even by crossing the galaxies and this was nothing. And why shouldn’t I come for you whose is not just my Bhabhi Maa. You are my Maa. The mom I loved and who has always cherished me for years. Thank you for being my Fredrich Engels.”
“Ok, now let’s go, Ranvijay, your brothers are missing us, my Marx.”
“Bhabhi Maa, its RV not Ranvijay, Ok!”
“Ok” she said laughingly.

What have you thought that I will let my son with a person who’s of such a kindle? A person who can send her own sister to mental asylum and that too only to continue into relation with her own brother-in-law become my RV’s. What have you thought I would have such a person on the life of my precious, RV.? I know you are the reason of death of your sister, Kamakshi.”

hile here in Mumbai, Kia and Jai’s relation struck their all time low with her no more being interested in him. She now had someone whom she loved and who was more near even age wise. She left Jai and even told him that she was there only because he had power to get her the life he liked and wanted but now she has even better option.
Jai now realized his mistake but he now had nothing but regrets so he also sold all his stakes in Mumbai and shifted to Kolkata where from his true regrets everybody forgave him and he started a new life with his kids and memories of Kamakshi. Here Kia was in cloud nine as she got what she wanted and now the world’s most eligible bachelor was her boy friend but she never realized that she was 30 and RV who was 25 was loved by girls more beautiful than her.
RV here was planning the last act by him and for this he needed his mom to be there so he called her as she liked the peace and it was impossible with RV strong media and stuffs cropping so was always somewhere isolated. Kia was in her own dream world which is to be broken very soon and it started with RV saying “Tomorrow be on time on this address my Maa is in town and I want you to meet her” were RV’s parting words that night to Kia.
But who knew that was the last night where Kia had rest. She did sleep fitfully that night but that was last night when she slept. O the other hand, sleep was out of question for RV as tomorrow is the last thing he has to do before leaving India and tomorrow there will be a day of judgment in many ways.
