Samay-Scene IV

Though Prakriti also was very beautiful and looked so good. Prakriti was educated in Shillong, Meghalaya in a Girls school and from there only she inherited her dressing style. She was perfect model size body with 5’6” height and always wore heels as in her school it was necessary as they taught them in manners and delicacies of British India lady. She then went to Grant Medical College, Mumbai and then did her MD in neurology from AIIMS, Delhi and since then she was leading neurologist of India. She hasn’t left doing research even now also. She has being awarded by many honors  and then she was duly and pompously married to Trishant by her father at first she do use to miss the metropolitan cities where she use to live and her carefree attitude but now she had bound herself into many bounds. She joined Mekahara or Ambedakar Hospital as an HOD of Neurology department and since her pregnancy she left her job on temporary basis. Though she was very beautiful and pretty and had all the qualities of models the most surprising fact was that even after when she was such a big doctor she hasn’t spectacles. She had mid length of hairs which she generally plaited or made a juda. Before marrying to Trishant she use to wear jeans and stylish tops but after the marriage she shifted her wardrobe to saris and now had number of them. She generally wore fine handmade cotton saris in hospital, rest of the time she either wore chiffon or jorjet saris. She sometimes when visiting with Trishant she wears pure silk saris.
In this sometime only she made friends with Dr. Naina and Dr. Tanay Bungela. Naina was Trishant’s school friend who is now gynecologist and her doctor and Tanay was a Physiatrist, they both ran a large hospital in outer suburbs of the city which was funded by Tanay’s elder brother, Mr. Rishabh Bendela and from the hefty fees which they took from their patients. Naina and Tanay met in medical college and fell in love then they married after completing their respective PGs. They first met her in the case of Vansh, the younger brother of Tanay and Rishabh. Vansh was a patient of neurology and psychology. Vansh was just a reason that destiny chose to give Prakriti some friends and since then bored Prakriti had someone to hang out with, like Naina took her shopping and movies whereas with Tanay she went for coffees and dinners. In short trio of them was complete she even thrice in a week visited their hospital. The position of Vansh had also improved tremendously in these days.
Even after her pregnancy she kept seeing him and some other selected patients to kill boredom. She also started doing some research. Today was Thursday; there was no work as she visited Mekahara every Saturday and Om Hospital i.e. the hospital of Tanay and Naina on Sunday, Wednesday and Monday. She was just sitting in her bedroom with her books when the phone rang and she got up to pick it up as its being more than 3 days that Trishant hasn’t called and she expected it be his call. Alas it was the most awaited call of the day.

Samay-Scene III

It’s being two months to this incident since then Prakriti had reduced her consultations upto nil. The pregnancy was more evident as her tummy had grown upto two times her regular figure. Trishant also took point that her public appearances are reduced. She left accompanying him as she felt insecure about the distorted figure. Or else she was active Mrs. C M but after pregnancy she reduced that too. Even Trishant saw that her gynecologist visited home instead of her going to her. 5-months pregnancy made her tired and cranky but Trishant saw the part that she is well taken care of. During this time only, one day as he was packing his things, Prakriti came into room and saw his packing, she burst into peels of laughs because it could be seen that he hasn’t packed his earlier as he was packing the breakable items like watches and specs in bottom and then his kurtas and jeans and in above his slippers. She said “C M sahib leave all this it’s not your cup of tea. Leave this to me. By the way where is the govt. heading?” to which he said “Jaanu why are you stressing yourself, I will say Sadhu kaka to pack. And the C M sahib is going to Bastar, naxalite affected areas for inspection and survey. I will return in a week or so, thought I will inform later as elections coming ahead. I need to do lots of rallies. But you take care of yourself.” She just quipped a sad ok as she knew that it was necessary and he won’t listen to her on the points of taking her. She just leaving the room when Trishant said “Sweetu, pls help with tie. You know I can’t knot a tie properly.” Affectionately she went towards him and started knotting the tie and started saying that “C M sahib learn to knot a tie or else what people will say shame on a C M who can’t even knot a tie.” To which he replied “If I will learn to knot a tie then what will my beautiful Dr. Mrs. C M will do.” She laughingly says “Don’t say beautiful I’m totally disfigured and feeling like somebody has tied a ball in my stomach.” Trishant passionately replies “Prakriti, you don’t know you are the sexiest Mrs. C M and now the sexiest mamma in India. By the way you look even beautiful in this pregnancy. Now I should leave. And I will never learn to knot a tie as I love it when you do it for me. Plus dumb are people who learn it because then they lose the time that they can spend with their wives. I sometimes wish what would have happened if I hadn’t gone to meet you in hotel and you and would have being a bachelor till now.” Trishant went to work and alas he would be also voted the sexiest C M of India expect the youngest because he used gym for one hour each day making his body like its being perfectly cut from inch to inch and had a height of 5’11’’ which made him look like Greek Gods plus he never wore kurta-pyjama like other politicians or dhoti like his Kakaji, he didn’t even wore a achkan like many others. He wore tight fight jeans basically denim blue colour and long full sleeves kurta basically white or else cream in colour, sometimes he do wore kurtas of different colour depending on occasions. He wore full rimmed black Armani or rimless specs in regulars. One thing which was greatly accessorized by him was watches. He loved watches. His dark wheatish complexion added a charm of its own to him. He had beautiful long hairs which reached upto shoulders which were most of the time carefully brushed straight till the end. In short he was perfect Indian man with “tall, dark and handsome” qualities.

Samay-Scene II

When late night he returned from the meeting then he went to meet some of his old friends, he saw a glimpse from outside of the room she had already slept, he took a breath of relief because most of the times she never slept before him, that created a havoc in his life because before marriage he was used to a life of freedom and finding someone waiting for you was out of question because Kakaji most of his time in politics leaving him alone in the bungalow. After schooling from Raj Kumar College, he did his B. A. in Political Science and then M. A. from Sri Ram College. Then only he decided to for dinner. Just as he was sitting in the dining room and the plate came his eyes shone as it had his favorite dishes like almond custard, spicy brinjal, stuffed tomatoes, lentils mix, dum biryani and bajra chapatti, when he asked about the decision of menu the staff told that “Mam had given everybody evening off and when we returned this all was cooked and kept properly.” Just at this moment when he was just starting to eat the caretaker, Dolly came, she said “Sir, May I wake up Mam as she also hadn’t ate anything.” Listening this only his hunger vanished he ordered that to make one plate of dinner and give to him, this was one of the habits of her which irritated him.
He went inside the room he saw she wasn’t asleep she was crying softly and all her cushions was wet leading to the fact that she had being crying all this time. He switched the lights and gently kept the plate on bed tray and went to her but she turned opposite side, he placed his hand on bed and gently caressing her face, he said “Sweetu, don’t cry please, I know I hurt you but why are you punishing yourself. You should have eaten; you know I am late more than thrice in a week and if you won’t eat then how the little one inside you will be nourished. Sweetu, Jaanu I promise I would never shout at you at all but shouldn’t you understand that how much scared I got from the news of your fainting. I am sorry for evening. Now will you get up and eat and I am starving and how will I eat if my Sweetu and baby are hungry.”
He made her sit on the bed and putting the tray in front of her said “See how beautifully cooked food calls you if you allow I would like to kiss the hands of the cook” and gently kissing her hands continued “What you thought wont I know that you cooked it. Chalo leave all your anger and eat it or what people will say see such a bad husband who ate knowing that her wife is hungry. By the way I am also angry if you were awake why didn’t you came outside and why haven’t you changed your clothes. And see your eyes how they have got swollen due to your continuous crying. Ok you change fast till then I order one more plate. Ok, now go.”
To which teary eyed Prakriti said “Forgive me, I couldn’t understand properly. I love you. I promise I will take care of me more properly and tomorrow I will go for leave ok” so Trishant replied “I love you too, just I couldn’t show it to you. Now you made me happy.” She went inside and changed into her night sari. At first she didn’t liked to wear saris but after marriage as Trishant was a public figure, she became one and she had to maintain dignity of the post Mrs. C M so she now only wore saris even in night because sometimes there are people in their bungalow even whole night. And when she returned she found that Trishant had already set the table and had changed into night track suit. They both sat peacefully and they ate hungrily as both were very hungry and then talked till she hadn’t slept. Then he also slept. None of them knew what destiny had stored for them and the baby of whom they were talking happily just few moments ago.

Samay-Scene I

It was a busy day for Trishant Vajpayee, well which day was not busy for him, being the youngest chief-minister of the Indian history is tough. He just sat down in his Raipur bungalow and ordered tea. Just as he was sipping the tea, his personal cell-phone beeped a number, the name left him shocked, he immediately called back at that number, he was about to speak something but finding it was not whom he expected, he sternly asked who was it and how he got the phone but in reply he only got the news that she has fainted and now being taken to the village hospital so it was better that he come here.
He soon rushed to that place named Uperwara in Chhattisgarh, he in his car was thinking deeply that sometimes he just didn’t knew what to do his restless doctor wife, Dr. Prakriti Modi, or we should say Mrs. C M or Mrs. P. Vajpayee. She was just going through her 1st trimester of pregnancy but didn’t left her job for even one day and that she even refused to take his staff. He can’t forget the day when she told she was pregnant actually it was first time that when Trishant came home he found her there for tea and as the tea was wheeled in their room, she said that “Finally I came to knew why I was so low since these days.” Troubled Trishant looked at her and she shyly said “Mr. C M you soon is getting a new post. You are getting elevated to the post of papa. I am pregnant.” The news was like that somebody has hardly washed him but then too he was very happy. It had being only one year to their marriage and such big news everyone would be very happy. It was big news as his father had enjoyed a great political career and now is in Central Ministry serving as Law minister. His mother died in labor pains and since then it was just him and Kakaji. He called his father that because most of people called him so. He was duly married to Prakriti Modi the daughter of one of the great friend of his father, known social worker and politician Dr. Sushil Kumar Modi. She was also lonely child as she was adopted her and her twin brother, Siddhideswar when he found them almost dying in riots. Since childhood she had depression so took anti-depressants pills though harmful but couldn’t be helped. Right now her brother was well settled in America with a beautiful fiancĂ©e Carlotta Brown. After she told him he immediately dialed to Kakaji and told him “Kakaji, now you must retire your 3rd generation is coming so give him or her your place.” It was great news both Kakaji and Sushil were very happy. When he was going through all this thoughts then only he reached that place and saw Prakriti sitting in one of cots who was surprised to see him. Both of them didn’t say anything in front of people and she thanked the people for helping her and then they sat in the car and sped off to Raipur. The environment in the car was much tensed. After reaching the bungalow, as they entered the room, Prakriti tried to say something but before she could say anything Trishant snapped back saying “Don’t say anything Prakriti, I just don’t want to hear it. God only knows from which material he made you. I am tired of your attics, you are a doctor you know what’s better for you at this time but you never take care of yourself and you even don’t listen to me when I say you something. Always doing what you want to do. Have you ever thought how would I felt when the phone call came saying that you have fainted. Dammit if you can’t take care of yourself then how will you look after the child? Sometimes I think instead of marrying a doctor I married a kid. Now you are happy seeing me so tensed and worried or you want something more.” Saying this he was about to leave the room when the phone call came of Kakaji, Trishant picked it up and said “Kakaji, we are fine, hope you are also good ok you wanted to talk to her, yaah giving her the phone and please you and Uncle make her understand that she should also take care of herself, crazy girl.” And he gave phone to her and both of them talked to her but she was lost in her own thoughts and was crying softly. She knew he is an angry young man type but hasn’t seen him so angry before. Sometimes it’s very tough to convince him

What A Day It Was!

Last day of exams are always fun and especially when a whole day is planned for you, partying till late night, sleeping the next whole day and taking a flight home in the evening. But who knew what destiny has stored for me that night. Just when I was lost in my thoughts of the next day when my phone rang.
It was Baba (my Father) on the other end who excitedly told me that “Honey, I have great news for you. Robbie’s marriage has been fixed and we are going to Kolkata for some shagun and I would love that you join us in that trip so you need to meet us in the Mumbai airport tomorrow morning as we have a flight of 9 o’clock from there. As you know there is a late night flight from Bengalore to Mumbai and I would like you to board that but don’t you worry Tamo will also there and I have informed him too he will be on his way to flat. You too hurry up. Bye, see you soon, Sweetie.” Oh my God! Tamo, a big No, my twin brother is just a pack of problems, always teasing but then too it’s easy to be with Tamo than to travel alone. So I asked Puff to drive me to flat, as like always Tamo took the car with his friends who were also our PGs. Puff who’s actual name was Ms. Padmalakshmi Raghavamma Iyer too was our PG and in the course of time we became great friends. She was from Madras and her father was a high posted IFS officer and was mostly out of country in different ambacies bought her a car as he didn’t wanted her to travel by public transport in a city such unsafe as Bangalore. Puff and I went out of the disc and guess what? We got lost as it was a new mall and we were visiting it for the first time. After a long time at last we found the exit. Puff took out the car and I started to drive towards the flat. The flat originally belonged to my late maternal grand-father and after his death it was mostly given on rents by my parents to college students of Mumbai as this flat was very near to big universities of Bangalore. It was a beautiful 4BHK flat with every ammunity present in it and when I and Tamo got into NALSAR, Baba gave us the keys of the flat as he thought that it would be better that we live in this flat only. After that in last 1 year we found great 6 PGs. 5 were guys and one Puff, all of us studied in same college and so it also helped in sharing the maintainance of the flat and helped in studies too. As we were so many people in a flat we appointed a help for cleaning work. She also use to some small odd jobs like giving our clothes in laundry, bringing basic groceseries, etc and there was a common driver to maintain every bodies vechiles as Ranjit and Kunal had a Sports bikes. Baba gave us a car. Puff and Sushant had their cars.
It was after a lonely traffic signal that I felt that somebody was following us and in nervousness we sped up the car and boom in nervousness we hit the wall.  Puff and I got scared as it was a lonely road and the car following car stopped. We saw some guys coming and rushing out of the car. I knew Bangalore in never a safe city for girls in late nights like this. It was approx 12 and we were scared. Oh! It was Tamo and his friends; he too was as much scared as me. Genuinely it was the 1st time I was very happy to see these hooligans. “Sandy! You damn scared me, are you alright, I got a call from baba that dada’s shagun is there tomorrow and we need to join it. I saw Puff’s car and started to follow. But you gave me a scare today. Don’t you ever drive again, you little devil” then turning to Puff he said “Sorry, for the car but we are in a hurry so should we leave now. I will give a call to driver and tomorrow he will pick up the car.” They gave us gave us a lift till the flat. In further drive I noticed little swell over my ankle and I realized that it was an ankle sprain but I kept mum. Reaching our building Tamo screamed “oh! Shit, no electricity” and he also noticed my ankle swelling, he asked concerningly was I all right to which I said it was ok. With the help of Puff and his friends we reached to the legendary 5th floor. As we opened our flat what we saw, a perfect mess as everybody was having exams there was no time for cleaning and the bunking of the help made it more worse. None of us had a plan of leaving in such a hurry. With the help of Puff, I somehow packed my things as it was dark and my leg was paining. In meanwhile Tamo also packed his luggage. Sushant promised that he will leave the keys in our Mumbai flat as he also lived in Mumbai and previously we three had planned to leave at last locking the flat.
Reaching the airport, we found it a bit unusual. Some moments later we realized that there was no airport staff. My mind reminded back to the morning newspaper which said “All India Airport-Staff Strike”. The news said that the next day i.e. from midnight 12 o’clock there is one day strike of supporting staff of airport. We somehow doing the boarding when the airhostess told us “Mam, the flight has been postponed by 2 hours”. We were trapped because after boarding we can’t leave the airport premises and now our flight was after 2½ hours. So Tamo and I decided to sleep in the airport. The next morning we both had splitting headaches thanks to the last night. In flight also we didn’t got snacks. Reaching THE Mumbai airport we sighed a relief. We came out of the flight holding our heads and reddened eyes, seeing this Dada and Baba were shocked and surprised to us in our party clothes and too in such bad condition and we were also looking like hippies. And thanks to the All India Airport-Staff Strike we didn’t got a single morsel of food in Mumbai airport also. We finally reached the Kolkata Airport. We looked like the contestants of “Beg Borrow Steal”.
Happy to be at last free and with my family. The previous night was one of the dreaded nightmares of one’s life. But the joy tears in the eyes of Mai(Mother), Baba and Dada compensated everything.
Seeing me lost in my thoughts, Tamo came and stood there and said “What happened? You look lost.” I just told him that I was thinking about yesterday’s night and finally we said “What A Day It Was.”

Ehsaas-Scene XIV

Leaving puzzled Anjali he went plan to his own wing secretly smiling on his plan. This morning only he had planned something which would be very sweet and rewarding for Anjali for being the best friend and wife of the world. After getting up in the morning, he had called his secretary and made all pointers clear that he wanted the grandest party of the history. Then it was part of his plan to take her away for outing so that the mansion could get ready. Indeed true to his word the party was greatly organized. On his way to his wing he met his secretary who was very confused as there has being no program in the mansion in whole her tenure and everybody says that this mansion has being a closed affair after the death of Arjun and she also found her boss a very mysterious person and her doubts have doubled in last some days. She had very brief knowledge of his personal life. She only knew that her boss had someone in his life and most probably she visits him in every semesters around Decembers and Junes. He his top priority is his business but he madly loves that girl. They weren’t allowed to visit his cabin in his absence and his presence also only the ones who were allowed to go. Plus she always wanted to see the photo frame kept in that room but none were allowed. And suddenly he was very gloomy and his unscheduled departure to India and after returning in so many days and then his accident and Ms. Anjali coming to his office and that to in such a horrid state. In her tenure she first saw her but had heard a lot about her that she was his best friend that they shared great timing though she has never visited him and had her own artitecture office and is the artitect of his house. Then suddenly this party and what’s going on is out her head as after arriving in the mansion she saw a lot of pictures of Anjali and him hanging all around the mansion and one of them resembled to a marriage photo according to Indian traditions. When she tried to ask nobody knew much and the valets refused to give in any information. Then in curiosity she asked him only “Sir may I ask for whom this party has being arranged and why there are so many photos of Ms. Anjali over here. If you mind don’t answer and sorry for interfering in your personal life.” To which he only smiled and said “Correction. Its not Ms. Anjali its Mrs. Anjali and actually Mrs. Anjali Singh Rathod, my lawfully wedded wife and what do you expect in a house of two married wont you find photos of them then whom. Now if you are gone with Sherlock Homes, may we procede you check up the party firmly I don’t want any flaws and till then I get ready and you are demoted after this night for poking your nose in my personal matter.”
Anjali looked critically to present and then opened it was two parts the first part contained some jewellery to which precisely an very heavy set with sun as its concept, it had a very heavy headband and similarly heavy cummerbund. It had long earrings lots of bangles and payal it also had same back pin which had to be put in the middle of juda. It also had delicate necklace which she mixed with her favourite necklace which had lots of colour and her mangalsutra. The second part of gift had a dress of yellow and orange in colour which long skirt of yellow colour and short orange blouse and had very long thin heavily embroidered stole of yellow and orange embroidery. She after seeing it just fell in love with it in just a second, she wore it and doing last moment adjustments to it when came and said “Someone is going dying tonight. You look so…so…oho I don’t have words. Anjali you always look out of world that’s cheating cant you just stay just mortal for one day. But now let’s go and take you to the surprise of day.”
They entered into fully decorated hall with full of guests who were admiring them and looked questionably to both of them as it was her first public appearance with him in all these years and all thought they knew him well for any shocks and surprises. Then the he came to centre dice with her and taking the mike he said “Good evening to all. Hope you all are enjoying the party. There’s a special reason to today’s party and the venue was also special my home. You are have being trying to guess my success keys for last 5 years as after I took over the company it and I rose to a new level but today I gift you my success mantra, and she is, Anjali or I should say Mrs. Anjali Singh Rathod and for all you media who have being wagering about my personal life, she is your delight, my first girl-friend and now my wife.” Then turning to her “Happy 5th Wedding Anivesary Sweetheart” shocking the world then he just concluded his speech with the words “Ek Ehsaas Insaan Ko Kaha Se Kaha Le Jata Hai. Ek Awara Ko Deewana Bana Deta Hai.”
That night lying in bed, Anjali said “You know today our world is complete as now I openly flaunt that I own the best and most sexy partner in the world. Thank you for giving the most awaited and wanted gift of my life.” To which Nihaal said “My dear wifie you deserved it for being the most patient wife.” And they broke into kissing.
Love is so strange. Isn’t it……………………………………………………
