Part 13
One day when Harsh returned home and while
admiring Palki’s photos in his personal drawing room as a whole wall in his
room was dedicated to her photos. Suddenly he felt somebody kneeling over his
feet and saw it to be his dream girl Palki bending down on his feet for his
regards. He stepped aside she looked hurtled to him and in sobbing tone said
“Today is Karwa chauth. At this pious day cant I even get a small place at your
foot.”Harsh looked at her, she was looking hot in red skirt and top and picking
her up in his arms, he took her to their room and after he was sure that he
rested her comfortably onto the bed said “Jaanu, I haven’t told even once but
you also know your position is not at my feet. It’s in here” pointing and
pressing her hand on his heart “plus I don’t like when you fast for whole day
and that too for my life because you are my life and when you are hungry how
can I possibly be happy. Now when my moon is so tired how that stupid moon can
make a difference. According to me, your fasting is a banned act as with your
asthmatic condition and your weakness. By the way, this reminds of one more
things why can’t you just rest and others work. The only reason for your
weakness is your only overburdening yourself with work.”
She blushed hearing the name of ‘weaknesses.
She was feeling tired and exhausted since many days and he had instated that it’s
high time she should visit doctor. But knowing she was very reluctant even with
the mention of doctor so had pressed upon the team of doctors of his funded
hospital to visit home. She had just received phone from one of them telling
the reason of her weakness. She had got blushing up to her roots. She timidly
said “Harsh, you know I got phone call from doctor, he told me the reason”, he
was looking at her scaringly in anticipation of something dramatic, she
continued saying “Harshavardhan Bharadvaja, your wife is expecting a baby. Yes
I’m 14 weeks pregnant i.e. 3½ months of pregnancy. So soon you are fathering
children, little Harshavardhan” he said lowering her eyes. She somehow knew
this news is just the bliss they needed in their relationship.
Harsh was in shock, though somehow he knew they
enjoyed healthy sex life and soon they would entering into such a phrase as
they both wanted kids but seeing his lioness blushing, and telling him that she
is pregnant was not how he had expected it
